Where did the Computer Go? Computing in the Cloud.

June 29, 2008

The article is now available on Oxygen Tank here.
Yes, the first 5 words of the title I borrowed from the marketing slogan Apple used to sell its iMac G5. Like how little Evelyn says whenever she does something that she believes I would not approve of, I’d say ‘..but that’s Ok!’

    Hi All,
I was notified only a while ago that the URL was not accessible to OT non-account holders. Thank you Azeez for informing that. I apologize for the mis-hap(not really, apparently a deliberate act! The title on the story is somewhat appropriate considering the background that resulted in the article not being accessible. ‘Where did my privileges go is more like for scenario! Life and all the fun stuff that comes with it!!).
The story is now available on OT.

Check out the uncertainty expressed here(http://valleywag.com/5055214/larry-ellison-on-cloud-computing-buzzword-complete-gibberish) and there(http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2008/sep/29/cloud.computing.richard.stallman). The question that comes to my mind is, do we create our own bank accounts and own telecommunication companies or do we go with ones with reputation??
